These terms explain the practical rules for using Skillio as a customer or tutor and set clearer expectations around accounts, bookings, messaging, and tutor listings.

Use the right portal for your role

Customers and tutors must use their own accounts and the correct protected areas of the platform. Access to role-specific tools, including messaging and profile management, is limited to authorised users.

Requests are not instant confirmations

Customers can send a booking request, but that request remains pending until the tutor reviews it. Tutors may accept, decline, or continue the conversation before confirming fit.

Keep communication relevant and respectful

Internal messaging is intended for booking-related communication between the tutor and customer tied to the relevant booking request. Abuse, spam, or misuse of the system may result in restricted access.

Tutor listings and approvals

Tutor visibility depends on platform approval and active profile status. Skillio may hide or remove listings that are incomplete, inaccurate, inactive, or unsuitable for the intended audience.

Launch review

Before public release, the owner should review these terms alongside payment handling, refunds, cancellations, and moderation policies so the final published version matches the live business model.
